Because that is not the issue here, the issue is that an elected representative of the players took it upon himself to grandstand before an audience and make himself look like a hero by belittling someone who potentially has mental illness.
The fact that this idiot did not have any mental illness issues was only revealed this evening, days after the act of incitement to further harass this individual. He's as bad as Mittani, both are pond scum and deserve everything they get.

Wow. Depression nor anxiety were the issue. Being pissed off at losing 20 odd Macks and wanting the Goons to feel bad about it was the issue. The Mittani has seen hundreds of similar EVE mails. Hell, I personally have seen dozens through out the years and I don't go out of my way to kill anyone I'm not at war or red to. This was correctly identified, laughed about, and filed away... but was classic enough to be used as a bad (and admittedly inappropriate) joke long after the incident happened. YouTube and EVE Files are filled with video's depicting similar events, and they are funny as hell in a mean sort of way. No poor suicidal victim was cyber bullied here, in fact no bullying of any kind happened here, feel free to ask him yourself. If The Wiz is fine with the apology and 10 bil, it's really time to shut the hell up about it.
They are the issue when pond life like Mittani decides it's funny enough to get everyone in a conference to start harrassing them. The gimp using that as an excuse shouldn't have, and I myself would just tell him to get the hell off the computer if that was his problem and consider it a joke, but publicly inciting this crap when he had no clue whether the guy was for real or not is not acceptable.
The Wis probably isn't depressive, in which case he should not use it as an excuse when he's butthurt about losing his ships, but Mittani isn't excused for making that individual a target. |
